Experience is key to everyone’s safety when adventuring. Skipper, crew, and abilitys of each, and certifications as well as a history on voyages throughout ones life. The variations are astronomical.
I have many years experiencing single handing in the most harshest oceans. CYA certified with abundant knowledge and quick reaction in any situation. Skills and tools for nearly anything with instantaneous knowledge to fix it. Having at least 30,000 nautical miles under my belt, I have also skippered quite a few different sizes and types/makes of vessels in each case forcing me to learn every little thing about each one in there unique ability’s weaknesses and little quarks.
